The Houston Humane Society is hosting a Hurricane Preparation Day June 9, 9 am – 1 pm, to get your pets prepared for 2012 hurricane season. For just $30, your dog or cat will receive a microchip and its vaccinations* ($93 value). There is no additional office fee.

Don’t miss the free doggy treat bags (11 am – 1 pm) and free popcorn. Kids can have their photos made with an engine truck and Houston Fire Department crew. The Houston Humane Society also has special adoption rates of $60 for any dog — and two cats for one adoption fee of $50. The Houston Humane Society is located at 14700 Almeda Rd.
