Kids with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) get a special evening just for them at the Children’s Museum of Houston. The museum is closing to the public, Monday August 20, 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm, and inviting families affected by Autism to its Sensory-Friendly evening. What a wonderful opportunity for these kids to explore the museum in their own way and time.

Not only will the environment be accepting and protected, but parents will be able to make valuable connections with other families. No music will be playing during this time. Sound-reducing headphones will be available. Families are invited to bring their own food, if needed, since the cafe will be closed. Admission is just $5 for Sensory-Friendly evening August 20.
