Breaking Barriers: Free Special Needs’ Conference & Resource Fair, September 29

If your family is dealing with special needs’ issues, you will appreciate this free event Saturday, September 29. Breaking Barriers is a special needs’ conference and resource fair for Houston-area families. The event features more than 45 exhibitors and 28 speakers at a professional level (M.D., Ph.D., Licensed, Specialist, and Certification). Some of the topics include Autism & Bullying, Special Ed 101, Special Needs Caregiver, ADHD Myths and Realities, Advocating at ARD, Dyslexia, Spectrum of Hope Services, and more.

Go online here to register for this free Breaking Barriers conference. The event will be held at Cypress United Methodist Church, 9 am – 5 pm, 13403 Cypress North Houston. The conference is sponsored by Lighthouse Learning and Resource and Houston Autism and Disability Network.
