One more week! Houston’s City Hall Farmers Market returns Wednesday, September 18, after a short summer hiatus. This downtown market, run by Urban Harvest in partnership with the City of Houston, features 35+ local vendors selling produce and food items from 11 am – 1:30 pm along City Hall’s reflection pool. The variety ranges from farmers, food trucks, live music, to top local chefs.
The Market provides the best local lunch downtown with farmers’ fresh produce, cheeses, coffee, breads, a variety of prepared foods, desserts, and food trucks.
Once again: Local chefs will run cooking demonstrations at the Market each week in the Chef’s Corner.
While downtown folks can walk over, those driving in can park at metered street parking, at Hobby Center (800 Bagby) for just $2 per hour (when no Hobby events take place) or Tranquility Park garage (400 Rusk) at $3 for up to 1 hour and $6 for 1-2 hours.
