Have kids who are engineering inclined — or want to expose them to extra science and engineering? Then you’ll enjoy learning about the locally-owned Engineering for Kids. This Greater Houston organization provides fun, hands-on before- and after-school enrichment programs, in-school field trips, and birthday parties.
Engineering for Kids is giving away a birthday party to one lucky HOUcheap reader!
Contest: Enter to win a birthday party for your child or special kid in your life! The prize package includes a 60-90 minute Engineering Activity birthday party (for up to 11 kids) at your site, valued at $250. Winner will choose one from the following parties, valid for up to one year:
- LEGO® Robotics Party — Party guests will program robots to perform in a robotics challenge. (Kids will not get to keep the robots at the end of the party).
- Blast Off Rocket Party — Party guests will design and build their own straw rocket and learn about Newton’s Third Law of Motion in the process. Rockets will be launched from a special launching pad. Kids will keep the rocket!
- Chem-E Girl’s Fabulous Party — Party guests will discover how to make Lip Gloss plus Lollipops or Ice Cream. They will be exposed to Chemical and Industrial Engineering concepts. Girls will keep their creations!
