The Houston Museum of Natural Science is a family favorite in my home! Not only do we love the museum itself but also the Cockrell Butterfly Center. My girls love to stand still and try to attract butterflies for a landing — and photograph them up close (like this photo at right). It offers an educational opportunity to learn the different species of butterflies from the color handout.
