The annual Houston Press foodie extravaganza, Menu of Menus, is back next Tuesday, April 17.  Guests can enjoy samples from nearly 40 Houston food spots including Haven, Las Ventanas, Roots Bistro, Beaver’s, Ooh La La Dessert Boutique, Brasserie 19, Mia Bella Tratoria, and Artisans Restaurant among others. New this year is the Iron Forks Competition pairing two chefs head-to-head with moderating by Monica Pope, owner of t’afia and Beaver’s.

Houston Press is graciously giving two pairs of tickets to Houston on the Cheap readers. One pair will be general admission ($50 each, $100 total value) and the other pair is VIP ($90 each, $180 value). VIP tickets offer admission one hour early (6 pm) to enjoy the food without lines and complimentary valet until 6:30 pm! All tickets include complimentary wine and spirits in addition to the food samples. Prices increase to $60/general admission and $100/VIP at the door. Menu of Menus is a fundraising event for Kids’ Meals, a local nonprofit.
