The Olympics kick off tonight, as you know — and so does an Olympic-sized promotion at Houston SPCA! Houstonians can adopt any cat from Houston SPCA for just $5 this weekend, July 27-29. This deal is good for cats three months & up. Prices are usually $65 – $75.
The adoption fee includes everything you need (vaccinations, spay/neuter surgery, complimentary wellness exam from VCA Animal Hospital, microchipping, bag of food, and 30 days of pet insurance) — a $400 value. Go online here to search for your new forever friend! The Houston SPCA is located at 900 Portway. Hours are Monday – Friday, 11 am – 7 pm, and Saturday/Sunday, 10 am – 6 pm.
The Cat Days of Summer continue through July 31 at Citizens for Animal Protection. Thanks to a partnership with West Houston Suburu, Houston cat lovers can get 50% off adoption fees of cats and kittens in July. Simply bring a bag of dye-free puppy or kitten food (or any wish list item here) to West Houston Suburu (17113 Katy Freeway) to receive a certificate for a fee-waived adoption. The adoption fee includes vaccinations, de-worm, Heartworm test or Feline Leukemia test, spay/neuter surgery, micro-chip, ID tag, andpet health insurance. The half-price adoption fees in July are $20 for cats and $34.50 for kittens. CAP Shelter is located at 17555 Katy Freeway. Open seven days a week till 7 pm.
