Texas Renaissance Festival knightReady for some 16th-century fun at the nation’s largest Renaissance festival in the country?  Tis the season for the 39th  Texas Renaissance Festival kicking off this Saturday, October 12, for eight consecutive weekends.

Opening weekend, this Saturday and Sunday, offers half-price tickets!

Located about 50 miles northwest of Houston, Texas Renaissance Festival features the sites, sounds, and smells of a 16th-century village. With jousting matches, 200 daily performances, international cuisine, thousands of costumed characters, elephant/camel rides, human-powered rides and games of skill — there is truly something for everyone!

A Family 4-Pack is also available for $44 for any weekend, which includes 2 adult tickets and 2 child tickets — save $34! Folks who plan to attend more than one day can benefit from a $37 Weekend Pass: admission one Saturday and one Sunday during the season, though it doesn’t have to be consecutive days. Please pick us for the free tickets. My oldest daughter birthday is coming up (Oct. 24th)and has never been there and really wants to go. We are a family of 4 and I would like to give her this experience the best way possible. It would help if we won these tickets, since her dad lost his job and I am the only one working. Please consider us.

    Thank you

Please pick our family. We are five adults so it is very expensive to try to buy tickets for all of us.
    Thank you.

WE BOTH WORK 7 DAYS A WEEK, but would GLADLY take a much-needed day off to have some very rare leisure time, fun, and GREAT FOOD! Scotch Eggs, Pierogies, 2(or more)Gyros, Wiener Schnitzel, etc… and hope it all stays down while we go bungee jumping!!! We both heartily thank you in advance for winning FREE TICKETS if you pick us!

I would really love to win tickets to this years TRF. I make costumes every year and go with my dad to celebrate our birthday’s (which are 4 days apart at the beginning of November). We weren’t able to go last year as I was swamped finishing my MFA and my dad was desperately job hunting. This year he has finally found a job and SO deserves a special treat. I haven’t been able to see him in a year and a half and want nothing more then to surprise him with a visit to reinstate our birthday tradition.
