IF YOU’RE a dog lover, this event is for you!  The DockDogs competition returns to Houston July 2-4 where dogs compete in long jump, high jump, and speed retrieve events.  The original Big Air competition is my favorite where dogs run down a 20-ft. dock and leap into a 40-ft. pool.

Dogs of all sizes and breeds can compete in the DockDogs competition.  Anyone with a dog and a ball or toy can compete!  Check out DockDogs.com for information on how to sign up to participate.  Online registration closes June 29.  Registration fees are $20 to $30 each depending on the event.  Practice begins at 9 a.m. July 2, with the first Big Air WAVE competition at 10:30 a.m.  Find the complete event schedule online.  DockDogs is free to the public at Discovery Green downtown.
