Seven free museums this weekend, so sign up quickly for your free museum pass… Smithsonian Magazine is encouraging museum participation with its free Smithsonian Magazine Museum Day Live!, Saturday, September 29. If you missed free admission during Houston’s Museum District Day, check out this list. Several Houston-area museums are participating:

• The Health Museum
• Museum of Fine Arts, Houston
• Houston Fire Museum
• Buffalo Soldiers National Museum
• John C. Freeman Weather Museum
• Houston Maritime Museum
• 1940 Air Terminal Museum

Other museums are listed, but those venues are always free.

A free museum ticket is required for free admission September 29. Folks can fill out an online form here to receive a free ticket by email for two people. There is a limit of one ticket per email address.
