Free Zoo Day is back!  Did you know the Houston Zoo offers free zoo admission five days each year?  Well, one of those holidays is New Year’s Day, January 1.  Take advantage tomorrow, January 1, to explore the zoo with your family.  Hours are 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.  Other free calendar days are Martin Luther King Day, President’s Day, Columbus Day, and Friday after Thanksgiving.  Just a warning that parking and traffic can get a bit crazy on free days, but it’s still free! This can save a bundle for families considering adult admission is $11 and children are $7.  Houston Zoo, 6200 Golf Course Drive, adjacent to the Texas Medical Center and Museum District.
