Free Doses of H1N1 in Houston November 7

THE LINES might be crazy, but this is good news for those looking for Saturday H1N1 vaccination sites…  According to the Houston Department of Health and Human Services, 1,000 free doses of H1N1 will be available at four locations in Houston Saturday, November 7.  Only the nasal spray doses are available for healthy people between the ages of 2 and 49.  Tickets will be available beginning at 8 a.m. for 1,000 appointments at each site between 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.  The vaccination sites are:

• Acres Home Multi-Service Center, 6719 W. Montgomery, 77091
• Magnolia Health Center, 7037 Capitol, 77011
• Southwest WIC, 6400 High Star, 77074
• Sunnyside Health Center, 9314 Cullen, 77051

The H1N1 vaccine is available during the weekday for healthy people between the ages of 2 and 49 at nine Houston locations on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Find the locations here.  Hours are 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. - 7 p.m.

I find this page very helpful. I am awake at 4 am to get this vaccine for my child and myself so I know where I will be in line within the next hour waiting=-) Will comment later to comment on process…
