Get this on your calendar now if you love experiencing Houston’s theater district for free!  August 29 marks the 17th annual Theater District Open House featuring Houston’s nine performing arts organizations in the downtown Theater District.  Catch a sneak peek of upcoming seasons through live performances, costume displays, meet-n-greet with costumed performers, trolley rides, and backstage tours.  The four venues open for backstage tours feature Wortham Theater Center, Alley Theater, Jones Hall, and Hobby Center for the Performing Arts. Experience theater, dance, and music from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, August 29.
