Enjoy the classics — The Houston Symphony continues its free Summer Concert series at Miller Outdoor Theatre, June 25 and 26, at 8:30 p.m. The performance features guest conductor Krzysztof Urbanski, silver medalist of the Ima Hogg competition. Musical selections by Beethoven and Dvorak.
Party with the Fab 40 — The Fab 40 returns to Discovery Green for a free concert recreating the Beach Boys’ 1966 album, Pet Sounds from 8 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. Citizens for Animal Protection will be on hand with info on pet adoption and its wish list.
Gather for a night parade — The Houston Pride Parade celebrating the LGBT community will move to a night-time venue Saturday, June 26, at 8:45 p.m. A pre-parade show kicks off at 8 p.m. at Westheimer near Waugh. The parade will start at Dunlavy and Westheimer.
Dance to the kid-friendly Sprinkler — Join local songwriter Leah White & the Magic Mirrors at Cactus Music June 26 at 1 p.m. It’s a CD-release party featuring their family album, Sprinkler.
