Outdoor movies are one of the most well-attended events at Houston’s downtown park, Discovery Green. Have you made it out for any of the family-friendly movies at IKEA Houston Screen on the Green? Get these dates on your calendar for upcoming outdoor flicks at Discovery Green:

Come an hour early for contests and giveaways!
Watch for a new series to kick off at Discovery Green, the Green Film Series, thanks to Chipotle Mexican Grill. These films will help educate and challenge Houstonians to learn where our food comes from. Essentially, how what we eat affects us and our world.

Friday, September 28 — Bring a non-perishable food item for the Houston Food Bank and get free beverage tickets.

Saturday, October 20- Queen of the Sun: What Are the Bees Telling Us?
Friday, November 9
Activities begin at 7 pm for each film. Blankets, lawn chairs, and picnics are always welcome to these free outdoor flicks. Discovery Green is located at 1500 McKinney.
