This fun event is in anticipation of the June release of Disney Pixar’s Cars 3. Take a photo with the stars of Cars 3, Lightning McQueen, Cruz Ramirez and Jackson Storm. Plus see exclusive footage from the film! This is located in the Memorial City Mall parking lot near Sears, off Gessner and Kingsride. This repeats again on Saturday from 10 am – 4 pm.
Listen to music at Miller — Don’t miss the United States Army Field Band’s Concert Band and Chorus Friday, 8 pm. This group has performed in all 50 states and 30 countries! This is located at Miller Outdoor Theatre, 6000 Hermann Park Dr.
Enjoy live music — Central Green Park welcomes a free concert with IDC playing covers from yesterday and today! Music begins at 7 pm at WFDD’s Central Green Park, 23501 Cinco Ranch Blvd.
Do outdoor yoga — Participate in a free yoga flow class for 45 minutes with Yoga on the Square at The Square at Memorial City followed by a block party with sips, snacks and prizes. Yoga starts at 9 am.
Chill with Tai Chi — Take advantage of a free Tai Chi class each Saturday, 8:30 am, at Katy’s Central Green Park. This practice helps you center your mind, body and spirit. Located at 23501 Cinco Ranch Blvd.

Enjoy family fun near Hobby Airport — HobbyFest returns Saturday from 10 am – 4 pm as an annual event to give back to the community. It’s a free festival at Hobby Airport celebrating 25 years! Enjoy the kids’ zone, games, vintage aircraft, face painting, music, prizes and more. Free lunch for the first 1,500 people! Located at the East Ramp at Hobby Airport.
Celebrate Taiwan — Enjoy the free Taiwan Festival with games, cultural activities and more Saturday from 10:30 am – 6 pm. Located at 5885 Point West Dr.
Enjoy a movie under the stars — Catch a free outdoor screening of the original animated Beauty and the Beast Saturday, 7: 30 pm. This is located at LaCenterra Heritage Square, 23501 Cinco Ranch Blvd.
Go big with Bollywood — Miller Outdoor Theatre presents a brand-new production of Houston’s Got Bollywood: The Red Carpet Saturday night, 8:15 pm. With amazing costumes, choreography, dancers and visuals, it’s a sight to be seen! Located at 6000 Hermann Park Dr.
