The cookie retailer is beginning its 3rd annual book drive, Reading is Sweet, October 2, with a free chocolate chip cookie today! Folks who donate a new or gently used book October 2-31 will receive a free regular cookie of your choice in return. The wonderful campaign is all part of National Cookie Month and National Book Month. Help them beat last year’s book collection of 7,000 books!

But October 1, no book donation is required. Free cookie for all!
