GRAB A PARTY HAT and celebrate with me today!  It’s hard to believe my one-year anniversary of Houston on the Cheap is today!  What started as a project in a blogging class developed into a thriving community.  With 40,000 new visitors a month, we’re reaching lots of Houstonians!  This year has brought many unexpected successes with the site, including five media appearances: KHOU News, FOX26 News, Channel 55, and “Great Day Houston” twice!
