Houston SPCA: $5 Adoptions Through Monday, September 3, to Help Hurricane Isaac Pets

Houston SPCA continues to help Louisiana and its Hurricane Isaac victims as it takes in dogs and cats from St. Bernard Parish. Earlier this week, Houston SPCA took in 45 dogs and 25 cats. Another 27 cats and 8 dogs will arrive today. As a result, Houston SPCA is kicking off its Labor of Love promotion with $5 adoptions on dogs and cats today through Monday, September 3. Prices are usually $65 – $75. Limit two per family.

The adoption fee includes everything you need (vaccinations, spay/neuter surgery, complimentary wellness exam from VCA Animal Hospital, microchipping with lifetime registration, one bag of food, and 30 days of pet insurance) — a $400 value. Go online here to search for your new forever friend!

The Houston SPCA is located at 900 Portway Drive. Hours are Monday through Friday from 11 am – 7 pm and Saturday & Sunday from 10 am – 6 pm.
