The Houston Symphony’s free gift to the community continues this summer with free performances throughout Houston. Find them at various locations throughout the city, including schools and churches:
ExxonMobil Summer Symphony Nights, 8:30 pm, Miller Outdoor
June 15, Capriccio Espagnol & Three Cornered Hat
June 16, Beethoven’s Seventh Symphony
June 22, Carmen and The Firebird
June 23, Mendelssohn and Brahms
Free, assigned seat tickets are available at the Miller Outdoor Theatre Box Office on first-come first-serve basis between 10:30 am – 1 pm on performance day. Miller Outdoor Theatre is located in Hermann Park at 100 Concert Dr.

June 27, 11 am @ Pershing Middle School, 3838 Blue Bonnet Blvd.

June 30, 7:30 pm @ St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 15500 El Camino Real
Star-Spangled Salute, July 4, 8:30 pm, Miller Outdoor Theatre. Booming cannons are a tradition at this annual family event followed by fireworks.
Houston Chronicle $1 Concert (not free but cheap!): July 15, 7:30 pm at Jones Hall by Houston Symphony. $1 tickets are general admission. Premium reserved seats available for $10.
