The next Free Admission in the Afternoon at the Houston Zoo is Tuesday, January 1. It’s all part of the Houston Zoo’s revised Free Day Schedule, which is the first Tuesday each month after 2 pm until closing. This is a great deal if you’re available — considering Zoo admission increased to $13 for adults and $9 for kids ages 2-12. The Zoo stays open until 5 pm during Houston Zoo Lights. The free admission does not include Houston Zoo Lights, which kicks off at 6 pm. The Houston Zoo is located in Hermann Park at 6200 Hermann Park Drive.
