Houston’s METRORail has partnered with several organizations to offer Houstonians free rides this fall.
Houston Texans’ fans can ride METRORail for free to Reliant Park and back on regular season home game days from 5:30 am – midnight. Last year the program provided free rides to more than 155,000 fans. Check out the wrapped METRORail train featuring Andre Johnson!
KHOU and “The Ellen Degeneres Show” have teamed up to offer Houston free rides on four days. Folks attending Museum District Open House this Saturday will love free rides as September 15 is the kick-off date. Free hours are 5:30 am – 2:20 am. Since Houston’s museums are within walking distance of the light rail, it’s a great way to promote alternative transportation Other free ride rates are September 23, October 7, and October 28.
