More Haiti Relief Efforts in Houston
posted by Vicki Powers on January 22, 2010

Here is a run down of a few more opportunities to help the folks in Haiti through a local appeal:

Sugarbaby’s Cupcake Boutique (3310 S. Shepherd) is providing 50 percent of its proceeds of Red Velvet Cupcakes sold Friday, January 22, to the American Red Cross’s Haiti relief efforts.

EJ’s Neighborhood Pizzeria (12312 Barker Cypress) extended its Haiti Relief fundraiser through the end of January.  Now through January 31, the Cypress neighborhood pizza place will donate 10 percent of sales to the American Red Cross Haiti relief efforts.  Print this Facebook invitation and give to the server.

Attend The Woodland’s benefit concert, “Give Hope to Haiti” tonight, January 22, from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. The event will benefit the Hydrate Hope Project, a clean water project of two relief organizations based in The Woodlands.  This free event features live entertainment from Aaron Ivey, Matt McCloskey and Gatlin Elms.  Monetary donations will be accepted at the concert.
