See the Wienermobile in person! The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile hits Houston July 1-3 as part of its “Miracle tour”. I saw this unbelievable vehicle on its Houston tour two years ago — and it’s quite a sight! The Wienermobile stops in four Houston locations for an up-close and personal look. Plenty of fun including free tours, photo ops with the big mobile, and free wiener whistles for its 75th anniversary. Treats including hot dogs, soda, and ice cream will be sold to raise funds for Texas Children’s, Houston’s Children’s Miracle Network affiliated hospital to offer free and discounted services to financially-disadvantaged patients.
Here’s the schedule:
July 1 –
Kroger, 5150 Buffalo Speedway, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Kroger, 1035 N. Shepherd, 2 p.m. – 5 p.m.
July 2 –
Kroger, 1990 Old Spanish Trail, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
July 3 –
Kroger, 1938 West Gray, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Thanks to its corporate sponsors for making this event possible: Kroger, Kraft Foods/Oscar Mayer, Texas Tamale Company of Houston, Coca-Cola Houston, First Convenience Bank, and Flowers Bakeries.

I saw them driving south on 45 twice in the last two weeks! Also worked at a museum up in Michigan that houses one of them. Must say it is a sight to see.
Saw it last weekend parked at a Galleria-area hotel. Fun!
