Enjoy the outdoors today for free Family Day at Bayou Bend Collection and Gardens from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Family Day is held the third Sunday of each month from September to May. Be sure to check out the petting zoo and create your own flowers and crawly creatures.
This spectacular home features American antiques and art collected from Houston philanthropist Ima Hogg. It’s now one of the nation’s largest collections of American decorative arts from 1620 to 1870. Hogg donated the home to Houston’s Museum of Fine Arts in 1957.
