Several organizations are supporting breast cancer research this month when you purchase Breast Cancer Awareness products — or simply “like” them on Facebook:
Three Brothers Bakery — $1 from each homemade pink treat sold in October will go to Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Help Three Brothers Bakery co-founder Janice Jucker celebrate her final post-cancer injection this year to beat her battle with cancer. Two Houston locations:4036 S. Braeswood and 12393 Kingsride Lane. Did you know this is a 5th-generation family company? Amazing…
Edible Arrangements — As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Edible Arrangements will donate 10% of proceeds of each order from its Breast Cancer Awareness Collection to breast cancer research.
Reliant Energy — Simply like Reliant Energy’s Facebook page and the local electricity provider will donate $1 to The Houston Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure for each new “like” they get — up to $20,000. That is easy!
Gotta Love Chevy Houston — The local dealerships will donate $1 for each new “like” to its Facebook page, benefiting American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.
