More than 66,000+ folks are hungry each day in our community. Help make a difference May 9 by participating in Stamp Out Hunger. This partnership with the National Association of Letter Carriers creates the largest, one-day food drive in the country. More than 3,800 local letter carriers will be collecting food Saturday, which benefits the Houston Food Bank.
It’s so easy to participate and make such a difference. Simply put your non-perishable food (and non-breakable) items in a bag near your mailbox this Saturday morning, May 9. Letter carriers will gather these bags in their mail trucks and drop them off at their postal station for delivery to the Houston Food Bank. Let’s make a difference in Houston!
The food drive has delivered more than one billion pounds of food in its 22 years.
