Bowling centers around the country are offering free bowling all summer.  Get signed up online and save your family some money, while staying cool and having fun!

300 Houston is returning with its 300 Kids Club Card, which provides two free games per day for kids 12 and under. Shoe rental is not included this summer. Offer valid Sunday through Friday before 5 pm at 300 Houston, 925 Bunker Hill.

Several Houston-area bowling centers are participating in the 2012 Kids Bowl Free program this summer: Copperfield Bowl, Palace Lanes, 300 Bowl Conroe, Max Bowl North (Humble), and Max Bowl East (Baytown). These locations all offer two free games each day to kids 15 and under. Times vary by location. Shoe rental isn’t included in the free bowling pass. AMF also is offering its AMF Summer Unplugged free bowling program this summer for kids 15 and under. Sign up online and get weekly coupons for free games through September 3.  Participating lanes in the Houston area include 14441 NW Freeway (AMF Windfern Lanes), 267 N. Forest Blvd. (AMF Diamond Lanes), 19102 Hwy. 249 (AMF Willow Lanes), Stafford, Humble, Clear Lake, Webster, Conroe, and Texas City. Shoe rental not included. Free bowling is available until 8 pm seven days a week.

Die-hard bowlers might consider buying your own bowling shoes for your kids, since the shoe rental can add up all summer. I found several youth rental bowling shoes online for $25-$35 each. And they are cute with the velcro tab!
