Several Houston-area businesses are recognizing Teacher Appreciation Day with deals or freebies. Here are a few that caught my eye:
Buca di Beppo — Celebrate all week at Buca! Teachers (and nurses) are recognized May 5-9 with a Buy-One-Get-One Free lunch item available 11 am – 3 pm. Get the coupon here. It’s all about Teacher and Nurses Appreciation Week!
Chick-fil-A — Several Chick-fil-A locations north of Houston are providing teachers a free breakfast, lunch or dinner entree May 6 for Teacher Appreciation Day. Houston stores are not participating. Participating locations include Alden Bridge, Lake Woodlands Drive, Sawdust Road, The Woodlands Mall, Conroe, Magnolia, and Willis restaurants.
Chipotle — Teachers and educators can receive Chipotle’s buy-one-get-one free entree May 6 after 4 pm. This includes a burrito, burrito bowl, order of tacos, or salad. Simply show a valid school ID identifying yourself as staff.
Houston Museum of Natural Science — HMNS is celebrating teachers all week with a number of deals and freebies. May 10, for example, educators can get free admission May 10 to the George Observatory for Teacher Appreciation Week. They also can take advantage of a Discount Coupon for educators at the Planetarium, Cockrell Butterfly Center, IMAX, and permanent exhibits at 25%-65% off. Print the coupon here.
Mountasia Houston — Teachers get a free Pro Pass May 5-9 for Teacher Appreciation Week. Simply show this coupon and your school ID. Family members can get a Pro Pass at a $5 discount. $24.99 value…
SeaWorld — Texas teachers can play at SeaWorld for free all 2014, thanks to the Teacher Appreciation Fun Card. Online pre-registration lasts through May 31. This freebie is for active certified Texas teachers, not homeschool teachers, student teachers, school nurse or custodial staff members. Show your required credentials: copy of Texas Teacher certification, paystub in last 30 days, and valid Texas ID. Sign up online at SeaWorld.
New York & Company — Nurses and teachers can save 30% off their purchase at New York & Company through May 7. Must show valid ID.
