The Texas Music Festival kicks off its first major performance of the summer session this Saturday, June 12, at 7:30 p.m. at Moores Opera House at University of Houston. This performance features a world premiere of Peter Lieuwen’s Concerto for Piano, Marimba, and Orchestra. More than 90 student musicians from around the country are participating in the Texas Music Festival in rehearsals and concerts as part of a residency program at University of Houston.
