If you start planning early, you can save money on some of Houston’s best annual events. Wings Over Houston Airshow returns to Ellington Airport October 27-28 for its 28th year. It’s jam-packed adventure featuring precision flight teams such as the U.S. Navy Blue Angels, vintage warbird flying demonstrations, aerobatic demonstrations, autograph tent, displays of modern and vintage aircraft, along with kids’ zone, food, and vendors. For the first time, the F-22 Raptor Demo and MV-22 Osprey (USMC) will be in Houston. Ellington Airport is 15 miles south of downtown Houston.
