Monday (9/25) — Take advantage of free admission to Czech Center Museum Houston, offered the last Monday each month. Free admission noon – 4 pm. The Museum includes antique furniture from European castles, folk art toys and dolls, Bohemian crystal, Czech porcelain, pottery, and costumes. Genealogy research is another aspect as well a chapel. Located at 4902 San Jacinto. {Don’t forget Houston’s 10 museums that are free every day.}

Monday (9/25) — Kids will love Play 60 at the Park Monday, 4 pm – 7 pm, at Levy Park. The Houston Texans and Texas Children’s Hospital will host fun-filled activities to keep children active and promote 60 minutes of exercise a day. Children will log all physical activities in their Park Activity Passport, such as Hula Hoops, Touchdown Celebration, Fuel Up to Play 60 and Texans Says. Completed Activity Passports will be entered into a drawing to win two tickets to the October 1 Texans game. Located at 3801 Eastside.

Tuesday (9/26) — Enjoy story time and activities each week at Toddler Tuesday: LMNOPeas, 10:30 am, at Discovery Green. This week features appearances by Pooh and Tigger. Located at 1500 McKinney.

Tuesday (9/26) — Body by Broadway is the latest exercise option, in partnership with Theatre Under the Stars and DEFINE body & mind. Sing, squat, dance and plank along to some of your favorite Broadway tunes. Enjoy a free, hour-long sweat session while unleashing your inner Broadway star at the park. This is a monthly series taking place on the last Tuesday of the month through November.

Wednesday (9/27) — Theater District Houston presents Houston Strong: A Theater District Benefit Honoring Local Heroes on Wednesday, September 27, 2017, beginning at 8 p.m. at Miller Outdoor Theatre. The evening will include free performances by seven of the Theater District’s resident companies: Alley Theatre, Da Camera of Houston, Houston Ballet, Houston Grand Opera, Houston Symphony, Society for the Performing Arts and Theatre Under The Stars. Friday (9/29) — Don’t miss out on Home School on the Green: Art featuring visual art projects that will inspire your child’s imagination. The Abrakadoodle experience engages children with creativity tools and introduces them to artists, art vocabulary and styles and techniques of the masters, while focusing on individual expression.
