Each of the artists at the festival represents 19 different art disciplines. During the weekend, you get a chance to meet with exhibiting artists and view and purchase their art, prints, jewelry, sculptures, and more. This year, be sure to check out the festival’s featured artist, McKenzie Fisk’s work, which focuses on children and animals in relatable moments. “Let’s reclaim our sanity this October as we turn the many, many positive visualizations and hopeful daydreams from the last year, into our new post-Covid reality at Bayou City Art Festival,” McKenzie stated.
Besides world-class art, the weekend has some amazing things in store for guests, including a brand new wine and beer garden, a VIP experience, and much more. If all this art is making you hungry, the festival offers a variety of options, like the Stella Artois Airstream trailer
Additionally, the Bayou City Art Festival
is a festival you can feel good about attending: as a 501c3, a portion of the proceeds from the festival benefits local nonprofits. In fact, since its origins in 1971, the festival has supported local artists and raised more than $3.6 million for area non-profits.
