1. Father’s Day Weekend at Bayou Bend

In honor of Father’s Day, the Bayou Bend Collection and Gardens has a special exhibition about the role of fatherhood in early America. In addition, for Father’s Day weekend, dads and families alike can enjoy discovery hikes through the gardens and live violin and guitar music.
When: Saturday, June 19th, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, June 20th, from 1 p.m. to 5.m.

2. Magical Dads Day at the Woodlands Children’s Museum

For an excellent bonding experience for dads and younger children, check out Magical Dads Day at the Woodlands Children’s Museum. This event combines magic, arts and crafts, and family togetherness in one wonder-filled experience. Kids and dads will get to enjoy magic shows, listen to fun stories, and even work together to make a special, one-of-a-kind Father’s Day gift. This is one of the more child-friendly Father’s Day events in Houston.

3. Pioneer Gun Class at George Ranch Historical Park

A great gift for Dad might be to let him see firsthand what it would be like to be a gun-slinging rancher from the Old West. The George Ranch Historical Park will be holding a Pioneer Gun Class with three separate sessions to give dads a chance to learn how to load and shoot replica flintlocks and percussion rifles that date back to the days of the Alamo. If your dad has ever had an interest in weapons from the time before Texas was even part of the U.S., this could be his chance to learn and have some hands-on fun. Register quickly—space is limited.

4. Father’s Day Market at B-52 Brewing

If you’re looking for a way to give your father a chance to shop and relax with a nice, cold beer, maybe check out the Father’s Day Market at B-25 Brewing in Conroe. The market will include local vendors of jerky, gun accessories, baked goods, pens, and puzzles, and the list is still growing. There should be a little something for everybody, so it’s also a great opportunity to find the perfect Father’s Day gift.

5. R&B Night Father’s Day Celebration at the Food Court

6. Father’s Day Out Concert and Car Show at Traders Village Houston

An excellent event to celebrate Dad this weekend is the Fourth Annual Father’s Day Out concert and car show! This car show is open to all makes and models of cars and will feature a live DJ. Get a chance to participate in or judge prizes for Best of the Show Overall ($250 Cash), Top 25, Best Paint, Best Motor, Best Wheels, and more!

8. Father’s Day BBQ Split at City Acre Brewing
