The Houston Zoo has announced another Brew at the Zoo event scheduled for Thursday, April 25. Last year’s Brew at the Zoo was a huge success and tickets sold out fast. Tickets for this year’s event went on sale today, so make to get yours before they’re gone!
Brew at the Zoo is a unique opportunity for Houstonians to save wild animals in their natural habitat by drinking beer at the Houston Zoo alongside friends. This year’s event is even larger than last year’s, featuring an expanded layout, a new VIP section, a greatly expanded menu of craft beer and cider from around the region.
In addition to the zoo’s many animal exhibits and beverages, the second annual Brew at the Zoo will feature live music by Houston-area bands, unique animal encounters, fun photo opportunities, lawn games, and more. Nothing goes with beer quite like some pub-style munchies, so the event will also feature a number of different food options for sale.
Tickets to Brew at the Zoo went on sale today, Wednesday, March 6. General admission tickets are priced at $45 and include six (6) four-ounce beverage samples, a souvenir sampling mug from which to drink them, and an evening filled with music, entertainment, and one-of-a-kind animal experiences. Special designated driver tickets are available for $25 for those tagging along to provide a safe ride home.
New VIP tickets are on sale for 2019 for $60 each. VIP tickets include all the same benefits as general admission tickets as well as early entry into the event and a larger souvenir beer sampling mug.
Proceeds from Brew at the Zoo 2019 will help save local species like the Houston toad and Attwater’s prairie chicken. The Houston Zoo oversees conservation breeding programs for both species and releases the animals into the wild to support local populations.
Brew at the Zoo 2019 will be held on Thursday, April 25 from 7:00 p.m to 10:00 p.m. Ages 21 and up only. For more information and tickets visit www.houstonzoo.org/brew.
