Starting Monday March 23, Burger King will be offering two free kid’s meals along with any adult meal purchased at their participating restaurants. This offer continue through the end of March and will end on Monday April 6.
Amid the Coronavirus outbreak, many families are struggling to feed their children. This comes as no surprise as many schools are offering take-home breakfast and lunches. Since school meals are a majority of children’s food source families were not expecting the extra work to feed children during this crisis.
Well, Burger King restaurants have stepped in to help during this troubling time. Burger King restaurants will start offering two free kid’s meals starting on Monday March 23 and ending on Monday April 6.
According to a spokesperson of the Burger King restaurant food chain from Restaurant Brands International, a parent company of Burger Kind, told the public about the chain’s plan to help families.
The offer of two free kids’ meals applies to any purchase made that includes an adult meal. Meaning, if you buy an adult meal you get two free kid’s meals along with your purchase of the adult meal.
The offer stands for participating locations across the United States while supplies last. This offer can be redeemed one time per guest until Monday April 6. Make sure to make your purchase online or via the Burger King app to redeem your offer.
According to Jose Cil, CEO of Restaurant Brands International, him and other industry leaders were in a conference call with President Donald Trump. They discussed federal aid for small business owners in the large franchise industry.
In the phone call Jose Cil reportedly stated, “We work closely with each of our franchisees.”
He also said, “We’re going to get through this. We have a strong franchise system and a very strong franchise model.”
