children's museum of houston astros

Since its opening in 1984, the Children’s Museum of Houston has attracted millions of visitors thanks not only to its breadth of educational and interactive exhibits, but also the amount of community outreach and engagement the museum extends to the Houston area. Already this summer, the museum has offered area kids free bike helmets in a partnership with the Texas Medical Association. While bike helmets and safety demonstrations are sure to please grown-ups, the museum has just announced a new promotion sure to please the whole family: throughout the month of July, the Children’s Museum of Houston is showing off its pride in our World Series Champions the Houston Astros by offering discounted admission to the museum to Astros fans.

During July, kids and their grown-ups who bring ticket stubs from any July Houston Astros home games at Minute Maid Park will receive a $2 off discount on Children’s Museum admission tickets at the museum ticket office. The discount applies only to the ticket holder, so make sure you take the whole family out for a night of baseball before heading to the museum.

In addition, Astros fans can show their support when their favorite team is on the road by wearing their Astros gear and clothing to the Children’s Museum. Anyone wearing Astros-related clothes or accessories can get $2 off admission on the day of any away games. The offer is available for parties up to 6 people and is not valid with any other offer.

Both offers are available through July 31, 2018, so take advantage of them before time runs out!

Don’t miss this great chance to check out the Children Museum of Houston’s new “Super Powered Summer” exhibits which bring together the awesome power of today’s most popular superhero and superheroine characters with educational hands-on exhibits. All it takes is to show your blue and orange pride and support our hometown World Series Champions!
