Christmas Tree Lighting Houston 2022 – November Events Near You
Tree Lighting Spectacular at Deer Park

What: Kick off the holiday season in the “Birthplace of Texas” this Thursday with the family. The event will feature a spectacular Christmas tree lighting at 6 pm. But while waiting, you can enjoy tons of Christmas-themed family activities including hayrides, tours of the historic Patrick’s Cabin, and apple ciders at the Simeon West Campfire.
You and the family will also have the opportunity to decorate Christmas ornaments at the Santa’s Workshop Craft Station, eat cookies from Mrs. Clauses’ Bake Shoppe, visit the North Pole Post Office to mail a letter to Santa and pet animals at the Bethlehem Live Nativity.
If you’re into holiday shopping, you can pack your shopping bags over at the General Store and Kris Kringle’s Market Place. Last but not least, while warming up around the campfire, you can listen to stories including “Twas the Night Before Christmas” while Christmas carols ring in the background.

15th Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at Market Street
What: This holiday tree lighting event is one you won’t want to miss. This Thursday, all will be bright and merry at Market Street as they light up their 70-foot Christmas tree in synchrony with twinkling lights and holiday music.
Get to be one of the first to watch the gigantic tree’s “performance” and frolicked around the venue’s Central Park which will be adorned with more than 25 000 multi-colored lights.
If one night of this isn’t enough, don’t worry. The lighted tree presentation will continue nightly throughout the holiday season.

This four-day event will keep you busy with merry holiday events sure to bring out the cheer in you. Tree Lighting at LaCenterra

What: Watch the entire Heritage Square courtyard at LaCenterra turn into a beautiful winter wonderland for the holiday season this Friday! There will be inflatable snow globes, holiday costume characters and performers, musical performances, OMG mobile video game trucks and activities, festival food vendors, and so much more!
Snow machines will also be giving that extra oomph with non-toxic snow to make the winter wonderland of dreams.

What: At The Woodlands, Christmas trees aren’t the only ones that are going to light up the holiday season. In addition to their annual Christmas tree lighting event, they’ll also be having their annual Lighting of the Doves Festival.
Head out this holiday season with your family or friends and watch as their giant dove sculptures light up the place. Aside from taking pictures with these beautiful sculptures, there are also plenty of fun things you can enjoy at the festival. This includes strolling entertainment that has juggling and other talents as well as complimentary balloon art, face painting, and a children’s craft activity.
There will also be snow play areas and snow slides. But while the event is free, you’d need to pay $5 for these activities. And if you get hungry, there will be plenty of concessions, and vendor booths will be selling food, drinks, and other items.

34th Annual Uptown Holiday Lighting

What: End your Thanksgiving evening with a bang at the annual Uptown Houston tree lighting!
At 7 p.m., Uptown’s 300 custom 20ft holiday trees will light up Post Oak Boulevard from the West Loop to Richmond Avenue with a dazzling tree light show. This will then be followed by spectacular fireworks which will be illuminating Houston from the sidewalks to the sky.
If you come a little earlier, you can spend your waiting time doing holiday shopping, enjoying unique street entertainment, or delighting at Santa’s special appearance. You can also view the beautiful balconies decorated for the Hilton Post Oak Balcony Decorating Contest.

Houston Christmas Tree Lighting Events for 2022
Tree Lighting Ceremony at Pearland
What: If you’re around Pearland, Houston this November 26, then come out and feel the joy of Christmas at the city’s Tree Lighting Ceremony.
Santa will be arriving just before 6 p.m. and he’ll be setting off the ceremony along with a brilliant fireworks display. After that, The Slags, one of Houston’s best variety cover bands will be taking the stage and helping you dance the night away. What: Head out to the 2022 Tree Lighting of Seabrook this December 1 for a night of fun and festivities!
Aside from the main Christmas tree lighting, other activities will take place on the Community House grounds and will include hot chocolate, cookies, vendors, and live entertainment!
Get to enjoy holiday tunes by local choirs and the Seabrook Intermediate Band. And, of course, catch Santa Clause to tell him your wishlists. He’ll be escorted to the venue by the Seabrook Volunteer Fire Department.

Santa in the Park

What: Join the biggest holiday event of the year of Friendswood, TX with Santa in the Park!
The exciting and fun-filled day will be brimming with pictures of Santa, 40 000 lbs of snow, amusement rides, live music, face painting, a holiday arts and crafts market, food vendors, and live entertainment.
The Chamber of Commerce will also have its annual Lighted Parade starting at 6 p.m. which will then end up with the lighting of the city’s 20-foot tall Christmas tree and a brilliant fireworks extravaganza. That’s not all!
The crowd-favorite Lighted Holiday Trail will also be back in Stevenson Park. It will be available from Thanksgiving weekend up to the end of the year.
