Summers in Houston can be rough on households with children. Between having to keep the kids occupied all day while school is out and all of the extra expenses that entails, summers can mean a much tighter budget and schedule. On top of that, temperatures in Houston summers are enough to melt pavement, making it more difficult to find ways to keep the kids entertained. Luckily, America’s favorite combination family entertainment center and restaurant has kids and their grown-ups covered this summer: Chuck E. Cheese is offering kids the chance to play unlimited games at a low price. Is it time for pizza and arcade games?

It’s always time for pizza and arcade games. Texas-based Chuck E. Cheese has for years been a go-to destination for some indoor fun when the weather is bad – or even when it’s fine outside. Now that temperatures are topping 100 degrees almost daily, why not beat the heat with some good old fashioned audio/visual stimulation? To better facilitate adventures in game land, Chuck E. Cheese is unveiling a new All You Can Play option making it more affordable than ever to have fun at the Cheese.

For just $9, kids (or their grown-ups, nobody is judging) can purchase an All You Can Play pass which lets them play as many games as they want for 30 minutes. At the end of that 30 minutes, additional All You Can Play passes can be purchased. That means for less than $20, kids can spend an hour going from game to game or just zeroing in on their favorites – even ticket-giving games.

With fifteen locations in the greater Houston area, it’s easy to find a Chuck E. Cheese near you and get the kids out of the heat for some family-friendly fun – and some actually tasty pizza. Now if only Chuck E. Cheese just had a beer cave…
