Holi Celebration at Children’s Museum Houston

Let your kids experience the rich culture of India with the Children’s Museum Houston’s Holi Celebration. Fun-filled activities await them such as the HoliArt Workshop where they design colorful cards and bracelets; create colorful crowns with the Holi Crown activity, and witness the interactive performances by the Silambam Houston-Indian Dance.

Let your kids experience volunteer work while learning and having fun with others. Have them join the Nature Center Summer Teen Volunteer activity so they can learn what the camp is about while rendering verified community service hours.

Cooking with Honey

A unique cooking class for kids that focuses on what dishes one can create using locally sourced honey. From honey-grilled sandwiches to sweet honey nut truffles, your kids can have a fun and easy afternoon learning a new skill.

Pete The Cat at Main Street Theater Houston

This musical play about Pete the groovy, guitar-playing cat will have your entire family giggling as his adventure unfolds. Highly recommended for the family. Just remember that kids below 3 years old are not allowed in the theater.

Things to do in Houston this Weekend with Kids – Sunday

Concert in the Park in the Woodlands Township: Brian Loftin Band

Visit Northshore Park in the Woodlands for an evening of live music out in the open air. You can bring picnic blankets, food, and the whole family. The musical entertainment for the evening will be provided by country musicians, Brian Loftin Band.
