With Fall in full force and great weather on our side, now is the perfect time to spend a day at Traders Village.
Traders Village is located in Northwest Houston and takes up over a hundred acres of space. This larger-than-life flea market plays host to thousands of shops, rides, vendors, and more! Within this large area, visitors can find anything under the sun, from jewelry to auto parts to furniture and beyond.
On October 17th and 18th, Traders Village is hosting its Funko Pop Swap and Vintage Fashion 2020 event, one that’s sure to attract locals and tourists alike.
If you’re unfamiliar, Funko Pops are collectible figurines that are known for their fan following and high value. Since their debut in 1998, these figurines have portrayed all kinds of pop culture icons and characters, from Scooby-Doo to Doctor Who and everywhere in between. These collectibles may be tiny; however, they bring big value in some cases. Because of their rarity, some Funko Pops can retail for thousands of dollars!
For those who are already fans of Funko Pops, this event is a dream come true. Because of the specificity of this event and the large space to fill it, Traders Village will be attracting Funko Pops collectors and vendors from near and far.
If figurines aren’t your focus, you can still find plenty of gems at this event! Vintage vendors will be sharing the spotlight with offerings of vintage clothes, sneakers, accessories, and more. If you’re a fashion-savvy thrifter, you’ll surely discover unique pieces. If you’re simply looking for great deals on lightly used clothing, you’ll go home happy as well!
The Funko Pop Swap and Vintage Fashion 2020 event is free to attend, with the exception of a $5 parking fee. We encourage you to head to Traders Village on October 17th and 18th and see what treasures you can find!
This will be an outdoor event with social distancing and face mask guidelines in place.
