HARRIS COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH

For those who are uninsured, under-insured, or receive Medicaid or CHIP, a visit to Harris County Public Health is quick and easy! Most vaccines are $15 or less and many are even free! You’ll have to call to make an appointment. They have 2 locations in Houston:

THE VACCINE CLINIC

For people who are uninsured, under-insured, receive CHIP or Medicaid or can pay cash, this affordable clinic brings immunizations to the community. For children who are uninsured, each visit is just $10! That includes the checkup and immunizations.

  • Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm
  • Saturdays, 8 am to 12 noon
  • Call 713.695.2205 for an appointment!

 

TEXAS CHILDREN’S MOBILE CLINIC

Texas Children’s Hospital has a mobile clinic offering free vaccines to children who are uninsured, under-insured, or insured by Medicaid or CHIP. Be sure to get there early. Their clinic is stopping at several locations and have dozens of dates throughout September! Check out their September schedule here.

 

TROUBLESHOOTERS IMMUNIZATIONS

This local health program is available to Harris County Residents who are income-eligible. You must be at 150% of the Federal Poverty Level or below and some patients may need to pay a sliding scale fee. See if you qualify for services and check out their upcoming mobile clinic dates.

 

HOUSTON FIRE DEPARTMENT MOBILE CLINIC

The HFD has a community outreach program offering free vaccines to kids from age birth to 18 years old. The Mobile Clinic has three more dates coming up in 2019. Each visit is from 4 pm to 6:30 pm.
