Monday (1/26) — Enjoy Fun & Games Night Mondays, 2 pm – 10 pm, at MKT Bar, inside Phoenicia Specialty Foods. Challenge your friends in retro board games (such as Mystery Date, Operation, Clue and Twister), ping pong, darts, and foosball. Save money with specials on craft beer and pizza. Free parking in One Park Place Garage on McKinney between Austin and LaBranch.

Monday (1/26) — Folks who want to be a U.S. citizen can take advantage of free Citizenship Classes at Houston Public Library. This class will help guide you through the naturalization process and prepare you for the interview. The first class this week is at Henington-Alief Regional Library, Monday, 6 pm – 7:30 pm. The same class also is offered Tuesday, 6 pm (6400 High Star) and Thursday, 5 pm (9002 Kingspoint Road).

Tuesday (1/27) — Grab your boots and take free Line Dancing lessons at Discovery Green Tuesday, 7 pm – 8 pm. It’s all part of Two-Step Tuesdays, where 100.3 The Bull plays country music for the ice skaters and line dancers. Located at 1500 McKinney.

Wednesday (1/28) — Gather the kids for Nature Story Time Wednesday, 4 pm, at Nature Discovery Center in Bellaire. The free afternoon event features story time for pre-schoolers, which could include crafts, live animals, puppets, short nature walks and more. Located at 7112 Newcastle.

Thursday (1/29) — Take a free self-guided tour of The Printing Museum downtown at 1324 W. Clay. Open Tuesday – Saturday, 10 am – 5 pm. Some of the permanent exhibits include a replica of the 1450 Guttenberg press, letterpress and type collection, historical newspapers, vintage equipment in four working galleries, and more. Guided tours are available for a free.

Thursday (1/29) — Opera to Go! presents a free performance of The Pastry Prince Thursday, 11:30 am, at Heinen Theatre at Houston Community Central College. A free master class of the collaborative process with the team begins at 12:30 pm. Located at 3517 Austin Street.
