Don’t miss these 7 options for free fun in Houston November 27 – December 1 before planning your free and cheap weekend!

Monday (11/27) — Head to Axelrad beer garden in Midtown for a free screening of Armageddon, part of the H-Town Proud Movie Series. Movie begins at 7 pm. All ages are welcome, but it becomes 21+ at 9 pm Monday through Thursday. (Those under 21 can stay till the movie ends if it goes past 9 pm!) Bring chairs or blankets!  Located at 1517 Alabama.

Tuesday (11/28) — It’s #GivingTuesday! Donate your time to an organization or reach out to those in need. This doesn’t cost anything and can brighten someone else’s day.

Tuesday (11/28) — Enjoy Body by Broadway Tuesday, 6 pm, in partnership with Theater Under the Stars and DEFINE body&mind. Sing, squat, dance and plank along to some of your favorite Broadway tunes.  Enjoy a free, hour-long sweat sesh while unleashing your inner Broadway star at the park. Located at 301 Milam.

Wednesday (11/29) — Watch the Houston Rockets on the jumbo outdoor screen at The Square at Memorial City. The game against Indiana begins at 7 pm. Bring your blanket and lawn chair to cheer on the Rockets. Located between Maggiano’s and Cheesecake Factory on the green space located on the Gessner side of the mall.

Thursday (11/30) — Head to Bellaire for its Holiday in the Park at Bellaire Town Square beginning at 6 pm. Celebrate the official arrival of Santa! The fun features snow, winter mascots and more. Located at 7008 South Rice in Bellaire.

Thursday (11/30) — Catch a free outdoor movie at Discovery Green, 7 pm, each Thursday in December. Enjoy National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation this week. The movie will be oriented to the hill so bring your blankets and chairs. Located at 1500 McKinney.
