Tuesday (4/4) — Take advantage of a free Tai Chi class each Tuesday, 9 am, at Katy’s Central Green Park. This practice helps you center your mind, body and spirit. Located at 23501 Cinco Ranch Blvd.

Tuesday (4/4) — Toddler Tuesday is back at Discovery Green this spring on Tuesdays from 9:30 am – noon. This week’s theme focuses on Diversity In Action through interactive cultural storytime and activities hosted by the Houston Public Library. Kids will enjoy celebrating diversity through story, song and play. Storytime begins at 10:30 am. Located at Discovery Green, 1500 McKinney.

Tuesday (4/4) — Free Houston Zoo afternoon is a great way to spend your afternoon for free! Tuesday, April 4, noon to close, is the next afternoon with free admission. Last entry is 6 pm with closing at 7 pm. Register online to get your free ticket.

Wednesday (4/5) — Enjoy a free lunchtime concert downtown, A Little Day Music, the first Wednesday each month, thanks to Da Camera Society. This month focuses on Jazz Appreciation and features Jacqui Sutton and the Frontier Jazz Orchestra. Bring your lunch to enjoy while you listen. The performance begins at noon. Located in the Grand Foyer of Wortham Center.

Thursday (4/6) —  Don’t miss the free spring musical at Miller, Footloose The Musical, presented by HITS Theatre. Free tickets for covered seating are available (4 per person over age 16 while they last) at the Miller Outdoor Theatre box office the day of the performance 10:30 am – 1:00 pm. It repeats Friday and Saturday as well.
