Great news for Freebirds fans! Freebirds recently announced that it will be doubling its store count in Texas over the next five years.
“With an updated tech stack in the works, companywide interior design refresh and incredible Tribe members and Fanatics, Freebirds is taking flight across Texas. We’re on our way to becoming the biggest burrito chain in the state,” said Alex Eagle, CEO of Freebirds World Burrito. “We’re looking at a solid 20% growth year-over-year.”
Although sites will open across the state, the key regions of expansion will be Austin, Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio. The Retail Strategy, a firm that provides nationwide, full-service commercial real estate experience and deal assistance, is helping Freebirds expand.
Freebirds Doubling Store Count By Partnering With The Retail Strategy Firm
“We are thrilled to partner with Freebirds World Burrito and provide location intelligence and strategic site selection in order to secure optimal locations across the state,” said Lauren Brunner, CEO of The Retail Strategy. “We look forward to being a part of the brand’s growth and helping more people enjoy Texas’ No. 1 Burrito.”
The news comes on the heels of Freebirds’ recent shop redesign, which included new interiors, murals, and seating. With open-sky murals, crisp lettering, and modern furniture pieces, the design revamp reflects the company’s “It’s Your World” mantra.
