Galveston’s tastiest two weeks of the year are quickly approaching, and if you’re a foodie, you don’t want to miss out.
Now in its ninth year, Galveston Restaurant Week kicks off Saturday, Jan. 25, and runs through Sunday, Feb. 9. It’s your chance to experience some of the island’s best restaurants for a fraction of the regular price.
A Great Selection of Top Restaurants
For island locals and even those in Houston, it comes as no surprise that Galveston’s food scene is home to the finest Gulf Coast seafood money can buy — and it’s paired with some authentic Texas charm.
One of our favorite parts of Galveston Restaurant Week is that no tickets or passes are required. Each participating restaurant has pieced together two- and three-course meals for dinners (ranging between $20 and $35), and two-course lunches, breakfasts, and brunches ranging between $10 and $20.
The prices on the special Galveston Restaurant Week menus are very attractive and often a significant discount compared to the regular prices at these restaurants. That makes this an excellent opportunity to get out and try some new spots that might not normally make the cut in your budget.
Being a very popular event, reservations are encouraged.
So, who’s participating? Here’s the list:
- Blake’s Bistro

Every Meal Supports a Great Cause
Don’t feel bad about trying multiple restaurants over the two-week event. You won’t just be enjoying some great food, you’ll also be helping a good cause.
This year, Galveston Restaurant Week is committed to help Access Care of Coastal Texas provide weekly lunches to its clients. Funds from your food purchases will help the nonprofit achieve that goal.
