Is there anything better than eating a good taco outside? Maybe if that taco was paired with a cold beer, great weather, and a few thousand of your friends. Later this month, the Houston Press will host the fourth annual Houston Press Tacolandia festival at The Water Works at Buffalo Bayou Park, offering Houstonians a chance to try the best tacos in the Houston area alongside live music, beer and cocktails, and more. Even better? You can get $10 off tickets through if you act now but hurry – this one’s sure to sell out.

Tacolandia is Houston’s premiere outdoor taco-sampling event and features a wide selection of the best traditional and eclectic tacos. Over 35 taquerias from throughout the Houston area will serve up a diverse range of tacos including eclectic urban contemporary tacos to authentic street-style tacos with traditional ingredients. Tacos will be served up from local taquerias such as Alma Latina, Caliente, El Real, Fadi’s Mediterranean Grill, Hugo’s, La Calle, Luna Y Sol, Los Tios, Peli Peli, Salsas Mexican Grill, and many more.

Aside from tacos, Tacolandia attendees can enjoy access to a cash bar serving up cold beer and cocktails, listen to live music from DJs and other performers, and enjoy authentic Houston culture at one of the area’s best outdoor gathering spots.

Tickets usually start around $35, but has them on sale for just $25 right now for Goldstar members. To sign up for a membership, all it takes is a valid email address or Facebook account to get access to deep discounts on the best events Houston has to offer.

Tacolandia 2018 will be held Saturday, October 27 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Water Works at Buffalo Bayou. This is a 21 and up event, and ID is required of all attendees. Don’t miss one of Houston’s best taco events of the year!
