Houston Astros World Series Championship Parade 2022

The Houston Astros have brought joy to the city yet again! And now, it is time to celebrate with the traditional parade of victory! Mayor Sylvester Turner has invited Astros fans to celebrate the 2022 World Series Champions at a victory parade on Monday, November 7th at noon.

“This is going to be a great day for Houston to show the world who we are as we celebrate the 2022 World Series winners, the Houston Astros,” Mayor Turner said. “I congratulate the entire organization and encourage fans to arrive early, wear Astros colors, be loud, and celebrate safety.”

Houston Astros Parade Details – Route & Map

The parade route will follow Smith St., beginning at Preston and continuing to Tuam, running approximately 1.7 miles. In addition to the World Series Champion Houston Astros, parade watchers can enjoy music from the Texas Southern University Ocean of Soul, the University of Houston marching band, DJs and more!

Houston Astros Parade Details – Traffic 

According to the Houston government website, drivers should anticipate extended delays and detours in and near downtown. Street closures along Smith, Bagby, and Louisiana streets will begin around 9 a.m. Downtown visitors should refrain from parking along the parade route, as vehicles may be damaged in the expectedly massive crowd.

Paradegoers are encouraged to use public transit, and METRO announced plans to provide free rides on all routes all day. Transit users may find more information, including service alert sign-ups for bus routes that will be detoured, by clicking here.
